Arsenal vs Manchester City, EFL Cup final team news and starting line-ups

Aaron Ramsey has won his battle with a groin injury in time to make the Arsenal squad for their EFL Cup Final clash with Manchester City.

The Welsh midfielder has missed Arsenal’s last three games through injury but returned to training on Thursday and has recovered sufficiently to be part of Arsene Wenger’s squad.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola will have to do without forward Raheem Sterling, sidelined with a muscle injury, and is without options at left-back, where Fabian Delph is suspended and Benjamin Mendy injured.

Meanwhile Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has returned to an Arsenal side much changed from that which lost 2-1 to Ostersund in the Europa League on Thursday.

Arsenal’s record signing had been ineligible for that competition but will make his third start since joining from Borussia Dortmund for £56million on transfer deadline day.

However Aubameyang’s former Borussia Dortmund team-mate Henrikh Mkhitaryan is ineligible for today’s game after playing 21 minutes for Manchester United earlier in the season.
