Europa League 2018-19

Date: Thursday, December 13, 2018
Kick-off: 5:55pm GMT

Unai Emery has the perfect opportunity to rotate his side when Arsenal host Qarabag in their final Europa League group match.

With the Gunners already qualified as group winners and a runners-up spot well out of the visitors’ reach, there is little riding on Thursday’s Emirates clash.

But with injuries stacking up ahead of the busy festive period, Unai Emery will be keen to see which of his youngsters are ready to step up.

Team news

Thursday might have been the perfect game to bring Laurent Koscielny back into the fold but with Emery facing a crisis of sorts at centre-half, he may need to save the Frenchman for Sunday’s trip to Southampton.

Rob Holding, Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Shkodran Mustafi will all be unavailable this weekend through injury and suspension while Greek youngster Konstantinos Mavropanos is still working his way back towards full fitness after a groin problem.

Emile Smith Rowe, Joe Willock and Ainsley Maitland-Niles are among those expected to come in tomorrow night.
