Arsenal XI vs Liverpool FC: Confirmed team news, predicted lineup and latest injury list for Carabao Cup

Mikel Arteta is expected to make changes from the Arsenal team that lost 3-1 to Liverpool on Monday as they prepare to face them again in the Carabao Cup on Thursday.

Bernd Leno should keep his place in goal, although new signing Runar Alex Runarsson is pushing to make his debut.

Gabriel is likely to return to the defence after not playing on Monday night and he could come in for Kieran Tierney to play on the left of a back three.

There should be changes in midfield too, with youngster Joe Willock primed to start in the middle alongside Real Madrid loanee Dani Ceballos.

Out wide, the wing-backs are likely to be rotated and that should give Bukayo Saka and Cedric Soares the chances to impress.

In attack, Eddie Nketiah is expected to lead the line after scoring in the last round against Leicester City and he should be flanked by Nicolas Pepe and Reiss Nelson.

Arsenal predicted lineup (3-4-3): Leno; Holding, Luiz, Gabriel; Cedric, Willock, Ceballos, Saka; Pepe, Nketiah, Nelson
