Art's House festival launches £5 ticket ballot for people who 'haven't got the cash but still want to rave'

Art’s House festival has announced a £5 ticket ballot for “people that would love to party but haven’t got the money”.

The scheme is being run by Artwork, the DJ behind the one-day event, in conjunction with Tottenham-based clothing brand Sports Banger.

It will offer 400 cut-price festival passes for “NHS staff, students or anyone else that just hasn’t got the cash but still wants to rave”, designer Johnny Banger said.

“We also made it so you can’t sell the tickets on or changes names,” Banger added. “It’s an honesty system.”

Full tickets for the event, which will take place at Three Mills Island on August 10, are currently priced at £29.95, which can be bought here.

Artwork himself will perform throughout the day at the festival, alongside DJ Harvey, while Sports Banger will run an on-site merch stall. Read more about the festival here.
