Asda has revived the beloved sweetshop of our childhood – by way of gin.Strictly for an 18+ audience, the supermarket’s three new gins are themed on some of our favourite sweets: lemon sherbets, pear drops and parma violets.The Extra Special trio come in cool apothecary-style bottles with a cork topper and vintage-looking labels, so they’ll look the part on any drinks trolley or shelf.But the best bit? They shimmer! Along with their strong neon shades, add a splash of colour to any cocktail or mixer. In fact the Parma Violets gin changes colour from purple to pink with the addition of tonic water.Each gin is £18 for 70cl and has an ABV of 40 per cent.
