Asda slaps customers with huge deadline and warns them to 'act quickly'

Asda has slapped customers with a huge deadline and urged them to act quickly if you want to save cash on your supermarket groceries. Asda has warned customers who have the app and have been using the cashpot that the Asda pounds can now be used - but only until December 31.

In an email to customers, the Asda Rewards team said: "Your Christmas Saver is now available to spend. You can convert your Christmas Saver Cashpot into a Voucher(s) and scan on your Christmas shopping. If you’re shopping online, a converted voucher will automatically be taken off – so make sure you only convert it when you need it. Your Voucher can be used at the same time as a regular Cashpot Voucher.

"Your Christmas Cashpot Savings will expire at 11.59pm on 31/12/2024. Online orders must be placed before 31/12/2024 and not amended after this date." As you shop with Asda Rewards, you'll build up pounds in your Rewards Cashpot and you can check your balance on the Asda Rewards app.

To spend your Cashpot, convert it into vouchers using the Asda Rewards app, but you don't have to convert your whole Cashpot at once. Pounds will stay in your Cashpot for 6 months from the point when you earned them. You'll lose your pounds if you don't convert them into a voucher within 6 months.

Your voucher will automatically apply to your next eligible online shop, or if you shop in store, scan your voucher at checkout using the app. You have up to 90 days to spend your voucher. To use your points, scan your shopping, then scan your Asda Rewards barcode. Once you have done this you can open each coupon you wish to use on that shop and scan the barcode for that coupon.

The coupons will only be deducted if the relevant product is being purchased. You can however use multiple active coupons on one shop.
