Actress, reality show star and 'Outta My Head (Ay Ya Ya)' singer Ashlee Simpson has revealed that she has welcomed a healthy baby boy with her husband Evan Ross.

Simpson shared the first photo of the couple's newborn on Instagram, showing the baby wrapped up and sleeping in a blanket, wearing a bobble hat, with both parents' hands holding him.

Revealing the baby's unusual (well, maybe not for a celebrity) name, the star wrote: "10-29-2020 Ziggy Blu Ross. Our sweet boy has arrived! I'm over the MOON we are so Blessed!"

Famous friends including Hilary Duff and JoJo sent messages of congratulations to Simpson and Ross in the comments.

Meanwhile, Ashlee's sister Jessica Simpson wrote: "Auntie Jess loves you Ziggy Blu!!! With my entire heart and being I will endlessly be by your side. You are beautifully and perfectly made precious boy."

Ashlee previously welcomed son Bronx back in 2008 with her former partner, Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz.

She first started dating Hunger Games and 90210 star Ross all the way back in 2013, and in 2015, they welcomed their first child together, their daughter Jagger Snow.

Speaking in 2018 about what her kids are like, Ashlee said: "Bronx is creative and sweet and he's got an old soul. And Jagger is the boss.

"She's already like, 'Give me the microphone and the shiny dresses and I am going to be [Grandma]'."

Jagger's grandma, by the way, is none other than legendary singer Diana Ross, who is quite well known for wearing a shiny dress or two.
