Ashley Cain 'truly grateful' as he announces he's going to be a dad again
Ashley Cain has announced he is set to become a dad again. The Midlands-based TV star and former footballer revealed the happy news on social media to his fans.
The 34-year-old shared the gender of his unborn child as he revealed he is expecting another son with an unknown partner on Instagram. The former Coventry City footballer welcomed his son, Aliyas Diamond, in January with a woman he described as a friend.
Ex on the Beach star Ashley lost his baby daughter Azaylia - who he shares with ex Safiyya Vorajee - in April 2021 after a grueling eight month battle with cute myeloid leukemia. He paid tribute to his daughter as he shared the news he was to become a dad again.

Ashley wrote: "My little girl will soon have another little brother to watch over, and my little boy will not only be a baby brother but a big brother too. With all the heartache I’ve been through, I’m truly grateful that I can really start counting my blessings again!!"
He also shared a new career update in the message, adding: "Now, it’s time to head to two of the most dangerous places in the world to film the final two episodes of my brand new series. So for now, I’m sad to say goodbye, but I look forward to seeing you both soon, my little men.
"And to my guardian angel, I’ll never ever be without you because I can feel your presence in every step I take. Life has a way of throwing challenges our way, but it also blesses us with moments that fill our hearts with immense joy. Here’s to the journey ahead and the beautiful souls who make it worthwhile."
Azaylia had a bone marrow transplant, but the leukemia worsened and her parents were told there was no cure. In Azaylia's memory, her parents set up the Azaylia Foundation, which helps children with serious illnesses access treatment not readily available on the NHS. Ashley has also taken part in many extreme challenges in Azaylia's name, including running five marathons in five days.
