More than 400 people, including dozens of children, have been killed in government airstrikes on eastern Ghouta since Sunday, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. As Syrian Civil Defense forces search for survivors amid the rubble, the International Committee of the Red Cross is calling for immediate access to civilians in the rebel-held besieged areas.
