Eight youngsters have left Aston Villa following the end of the season after the Premier League confirmed all of its clubs' released lists.

Among them are Chisom Afoka, who swapped West Bromwich Albion for Villa in 2020. The 20-year-old started last season on loan at Bradford City, but only made two League Two appearances before returning to Villa in January.

Frankie Ealing has also left the club after making three EFL Trophy appearances last term, as well as nine in the Premier League 2. The defender joined the club at the age of six and penned a scholarship in December 2019 before he signed a professional contract with the club in July 2022.
