Aston Villa's squad value has continued to soar after the club secured fourth place in the Premier League and achieved Champions League football for next season. Villa, under Unai Emery, have gone from strength to strength since the Spaniard's appointment around 18 months ago.

The ambition of the coach has been matched by the ownership who have, within the well documented FFP restraints, invested in the squad with some expensive additions and have been suitably rewarded with performances and results on the field throughout a memorable campaign.

Villa's squad, who have achieved plenty as a group, is deep and will be further boosted by the returns of injured trio Tyrone Mings, Emiliano Buendia and Boubacar Kamara in due course. In the meantime, Emery is keen to beef up his squad further and is prepared to make some important decisions on existing personnel. Ross Barkley (valued at £8m) is expected to be the first new(ish) face through the door this summer.

Having bid farewell to Nicolo Zaniolo and Clement Lenglet, and as they prepare to welcome back Philippe Coutinho, Leander Dendoncker, Cameron Archer and Kosta Nedeljkovic, this is what Villa's players are valued at (per Transfermarkt) individually and the collective value of the squad.
