Aston Villa suffer another injury set-back in Carabao Cup clash with Wycombe Wanderers
Aston Villa have been handed a fresh injury worry as Diego Carlos dropped out of the matchday squad for the Carabao Cup third round clash against Wycombe Wanderers.
The centre-back was named among the substitutes at Adams Park, but felt an injury during the warm-up. He was replaced by young defender Thierry Katsukunya on the bench.
Carlos will now be a doubt for Villa ahead of the Premier League clash with Ipswich Town at Portman Road on Sunday. He had started his first game of the season last weekend, in Villa's win against Wolves.

Villa came back from behind against their West Midlands rivals after Carlos' misplaced pass in the 25th minute was punished by Matheus Cunha. The Wolves forward’s goal was what separated the two side's before Ollie Watkins levelled the game up in the 73rd minute.
Ezri Konsa put Villa in front in the 88th minute, before Jhon Duran got in on the act to make it 3-1 in second half added time.
Villa are currently without Tyrone Mings, who is working his way back from a serious knee injury.
