Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has named his starting XI to take on Wycombe Wanderers in tonight's Carabao Cup third round clash (8pm kick-off).

Emery has decided to make 10 changes from the side which started against Wolves at the weekend. Joe Gauci makes his full debut in front of a defence made up of Kosta Nedeljkovic, Lamare Bogarde, Sil Swinkels and Ian Maatsen.

Amadou Onana is the only player to keep his place in the side after the win over Wolves as he operates alongside Ross Barkley in the double pivot. Leon Bailey starts on the right and Kadan Young on the left, while Emi Buendia supports Jhon Duran in attack.

Unai Emery's side come into the cup tie on the back of four consecutive victories in all competitions, while League One side Wycombe have made a steady start to their season, winning three of their first six league games.

The Chairboys advanced to this stage of the Carabao Cup after away wins over Northampton Town and Swansea City. Villa, meanwhile, didn't play in the second round because they are one of the seven Premier League clubs playing in Europe this season.

Villa starting XI vs Wycombe: Gauci, Nedeljkovic, Bogarde, Swinkels, Maatsen, Onana, Barkley, Bailey, Young, Buendia, Duran.

Subs: Zych, Carlos, Ramsey, Rowe, Borland, Jimoh-Aloba, Patterson, Moore, Broggio.
