Aston Villa vs Bayern Munich team news confirmed as Bailey left out and Kane decision made
Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has named his starting XI to face Bayern Munich in the Champions League (8pm kick-off).
He has made one change from the side which started in the 2-2 draw against Ipswich Town last time out. Jaden Philogene makes his first start of the season and replaces Leon Bailey in the XI, while Matty Cash has returned to the matchday squad and is named among the substitutes.
From back to front, Emi Martinez starts in goal behind a defence of Ezri Konsa, Diego Carlos, Pau Torres and Lucas Digne. Amadou Onana plays in the double pivot alongside compatriot Youri Tielemans, while Philogene operates from the right and Jacob Ramsey on the left. Morgan Rogers will support Ollie Watkins up front.

Bayern come into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw with Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen at the Allianz Arena. Key man Harry Kane picked up an injury in the draw, but has been named in Vincent Kompany's starting XI this evening.
The German giants won their first Champions League league phase fixture 9-2 against Dinamo Zagreb, while Villa defeated BSC Young Boys 3-0 at the Wankdorf Stadium in Bern last month.
