What astrology tells us about humans

Horoscope writer Marissa Malik is quoted as saying: “Astrology reminds us there’s something bigger than humans” (Superstitious minds? Surge in enthusiasm for astrology apps, 10 August). No! It reminds us, as Einstein said, that there is nothing bigger than human stupidity. It is astronomy that has taught us that there is something much, much bigger than humans. It is just this sort of growing irreverence for science and blind acceptance of nonsense that makes me think we have little chance of dealing with climate change and associated issues.
