Astronauts Arrive at International Space Station Following Launch in Kazakhstan

Russian cosmonaut Fyodor Yurchikhin and US astronaut Jack Fisher arrived at the International Space Station on Thursday, April 20. The pair departed on a rocket from Baikonur Cosmodrome in southern Kazakhstan hours earlier.

The two arrived at 9:18 am, having departed at 3:13 am from Kazakhstan. They joined commander Peggy Whitson and flight engineers Oleg Novitskiy and Thomas Pesquet on the ISS. Credit: NASA via Storyful
