Atlanta Police Release Additional Footage of 'Coordinated Attack' on Construction Site

The City of Atlanta Police Department released additional footage of what they called a “coordinated attack” at the proposed site of the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center on Sunday, March 5.

The footage, which is 22 minutes long, shows the masked protesters storming the construction site, throwing rocks, and setting fire to bulldozers.

Along with the video, Atlanta Police released a list of 23 of the arrested protesters and their respective mugshots. All 23 had been charged with domestic terrorism by the Georgia Bureau of Investigations (GBI), said the police. In total, 35 protesters had been detained.

The police were expecting more planned protests following Sunday’s demonstration and asked for them to “remain peaceful.” Credit: City of Atlanta Police Department via Storyful
