Atomic Kitten's Kerry Katona and Natasha Hamilton have hit out at a so-called fan after being bottled during a gig on Wednesday (March 8).

Kerry and Natasha, who were performing without honorary kitten Michelle Heaton at University of Lincoln's student union, have aired their frustration on social media by slamming the "pissed up fool" responsible .

"Well that was fun!! What a shame when some young boy going through puberty thinks it's manly to throw bottles at girls!!" Kerry tweeted, coining the excellent new hashtag: "#waiting4balls2drop".

"The crowd was amazing last night, just one pissed up fool in the crowd," she later added.

Natasha had some similarly harsh words for someone who thought it was funny that her and Kerry left the show over "a few plastic bottles".

"Wow, what a guy!..So you think that's acceptable behaviour? I don't think you'd like to watch your girlfriend pelted with crap?" she (quite rightly) pointed out.

At least Atomic Kitten haven't got their claws out over each other – something which Kerry Katona was forced to deny last month.

After rumours that things were getting catty between her and Natasha, Kerry rubbished the claims, reassuring fans that the two are actually "like bloody sisters". Phew.

The kittens have recently returned from their tour of the Southern Hemisphere alongside other such '00s staples Liberty X, East 17, B*Witched and S Club.
