Just days before Sir David Attenborough returns to UK screens with his new series Dynasties, Netflix has confirmed that the presenter will be narrating a whole new project as the voice of new documentary series Our Planet.
Our Planet is described as an ambitious and ground-breaking series that will showcase the planet's most precious species and fragile habitats. It's been created by the same people who were behind the critically acclaimed Planet Earth and Blue Planet series in partnership with the world's leading conservation organisation WWF too.
So, basically, it's in good hands.

The footage has been collected over four years, with over 600 members of crew filming in 50 countries across all the continents of the world to capture amazing sights on Earth in ways they've never been seen before, from the Arctic wilderness to the diverse jungles of South America.
Oh, and it's been filmed using the latest in 4k camera technology, too.
"Our Planet will take viewers on a spectacular journey of discovery showcasing the beauty and fragility of our natural world," Sir David Attenborough said at the WWF's State of the Planet Address event in London tonight (November 8).
'Today we have become the greatest threat to the health of our home but there's still time for us to address the challenges we've created, if we act now. We need the world to pay attention. Our Planet brings together some of the world's best filmmakers and conservationists and I'm delighted to help bring this important story to millions of people worldwide."
Alongside the new documentary series, the WWF partnership allows the programme to be a part of a wider global project that will help inspire people around the world to discover why our natural planet matters.
The project will also include a wealth of online resources and educational programmes for schools to go beyond showing the wonders of our world and highlight what we can do to ensure our planet's future.
Our Planet premieres on Netflix on April 5, 2019.
