Austin Drivers Wait for 'Hours' for COVID Tests

Drivers waited in a long line for coronavirus tests in Austin, Texas, on Tuesday, January 4.

James Carlson posted videos of a testing line on Tuesday at the Long Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Austin, and wrote that he waited for seven hours on Monday for a test but didn’t get one.

Austin Public Health said on December 31 that one in four people were testing positive at their test sites. They said the “increase in cases is putting further stress on our hospital system.” Credit: James Carlson via Storyful
