Australian Defence Force Planes Arrive in Middle East to Assist With Kabul Evacuations

Two planes arrived at an Australian airbase in the Middle East on August 18 to support efforts to evacuate Australian citizens and visa holders in Kabul after the Taliban took control of the city and vast swathes of the country.

An evacuation flight carried out by the Australian Defence Force took 26 passengers from Kabul on August 18.
