Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison Condemns 'Evil' Attack in Kabul

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison condemned the deadly attacks at Kabul airport on August 26, that claimed the lives of dozens of Afghans and at least 13 US service members.

In this footage livestreamed to Scott Morrison’s Facebook page, the Prime Minister said “Australia condemns the evil, calculated and inhuman attacks that were undertaken in Kabul overnight on the innocent and on the brave.”

Morrison also offered condolences for the lives lost in the attack, saying “We join with our American and Afghan friends in mourning their terrible and awful loss.”

Earlier on the Friday, Defence Minister Peter Dutton confirmed the Australian Defence Force would not be returning to Afghanistan to evacuate more Australian citizens.
