What is it?

A new international competition between England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, France, Italy, Fiji, and Georgia. It is a separate competition to the 2020 Six Nations, which was completed before the Autumn Nations Cup starts.

How does it work?

There are two pools of four countries in the tournament. Group A consists of England, Ireland, Wales, and Georgia. Group B is made up of France, Scotland, Italy, and Fiji.

Each team will play the other three teams in their group, over the course of the first three weekends of the competition.

Each group will be its own mini league. Each team in Group A will face the team in the corresponding position in Group B. Therefore, the two first place teams will contest for first overall and so on. This means that all eight teams are guaranteed four matches over the course of the four weekends.

What TV channel is it on?

Amazon Prime have the main broadcast rights for the tournament, although a number of the matches will also be shown on Channel 4, including England-Ireland.
