Avengers 4's title reveal is further away than we think

We've known for a while that we wouldn't get Avengers 4 title before Infinity War as it's a spoiler, but we apparently didn't realise just how long we'll have to wait.

A popular theory was that the title was being kept back so that it could be revealed at the end of Infinity War, with the closing credits potentially saying something along the lines of "the Avengers will return in...".

However, that is NOT the case, as Joe Russo denied those rumours to Yahoo! Movies and explained why it won't be when the title is revealed.

"It's going to be quite some time before we reveal the title. We need people to see this movie, digest this movie, and then we can tell them what the next story is they're going to see," he outlined.

In fact, the title for Avengers 4 is being kept so secret that even the cast of the movie don't know what it is.

"Someone just told us that they were going to release it after this movie. When are they releasing the name? I have no idea what it is. I've been calling it Avengers 4," Elisabeth Olsen told Digital Spy.

And if you think that's bad, the Russo Brothers revealed earlier this month that only a handful of people know the "true plot" of Avengers: Infinity War.

Avengers: Infinity War is released in UK cinemas on April 26 and US cinemas on April 27, with Avengers 4 set for release in UK cinemas on April 26, 2019 and US cinemas on May 3, 2019.
