Avengers spin-off Falcon and the Winter Soldier could feature two more MCU characters.

Announced last year, the six-part series will broadcast on Disney's forthcoming streaming service Disney+ and star Avengers: Endgame actors Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan in their respective Marvel roles.

And, it seems they won't be the only MCU actors working on the project.

As The Wrap reports, the pair may be joined in the series by Captain America: Civil War stars Emily VanCamp and Daniel Brühl.

The pair are rumoured to be considering offers to reprise their roles as Peggy Carter's niece Sharon and villain Zemo respectively.

Directed by Kari Skogland and produced by Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige, it's thought Falcon and the Winter Soldier will premiere in August 2020.

VanCamp is most famous for her role as the protagonist of hit series Revenge, while Brühl's credits include leading roles in The Alienist and Cloverfield Paradox.

All three projects are currently available on Netflix, which is set to be Disney+'s number one rival in the streaming service race, so things are going to get interesting...

Disney+ is expected to launch later this year.
