Yahoo News Avengers star Benedict Wong appears in What We Do In The Shadows season 2
What We Do in the Shadows spoilers follow (not major ones, mind you).
One of the best sitcoms of recent years, What We Do in the Shadows, is back! At least it is in America, despite the main stars all being British comedians.
The season 2 premiere, 'Resurrection', featured a guest appearance from one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's funniest stars, Benedict Wong.
You'll know him as Doctor Strange's buddy, Wong. You might also remember his memorable appearance in The IT Crowd's Countdown episode, where he played Prime, who had another name once, but he no longer goes by it... Harold Tong.
We don't want to go in-depth about what happens in the episode and ruin the comedy, but we will say that it involves Hayley Joel Osment (aka Sora from Kingdom Hearts) once again seeing dead people, some license plate keychains and zombies.
These aren't the only two stars joining What We Do in the Shadows season 2. Star Wars icon Mark Hamill and Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Craig Robinson will be joining the vampiric comedy too.
As well as the typical comedy and vampires living in self-isolation (which is now even more relatable in the current climate), there is also the plot point the first season set up of hapless familiar Guillermo (Harvey Guillén) being a descendent of famous vampire hunter Abraham Van Helsing.
What We Do in the Shadows airs on FX in the United States, while BBC iPlayer shows it in the United Kingdom. As soon as they announce a UK return date, we'll let you know.
