Kensington nightclub ‘shooting’
Bullet casings have been found in a West London street after police were called to reports of a gun being fired yesterday morning (Sunday, October 13). Officers from the Met were called to Russell Gardens in West Kensington at around 4am last night, after witnesses said they heard gunshots following an argument between a group of people outside Ricco London.
A sweep of the area revealed a number of bullet casings around Russell Gardens, with a crime scene being set up and part of the street cordoned off. The cordon remained in place until Sunday afternoon.
A spokesperson for the Met has confirmed that there have been no reports of any injuries. Detectives are appealing for anyone with information to call 101 and quote CAD1158/13Oct or contact Crimestoppers.

Teen chased with ‘butcher’s knife’
A ‘baby-faced’ teen was chased with a butcher’s knife and stabbed in Kilburn High Road on Saturday (October 12), according to an eye witness. Police were called to the area after reports of the attack just before 1.45pm.
Despite this police are yet to locate the victim and say they are looking for a 'black male, aged in his teens or early 20s'. Rachel Hope, a 24-year-old service manager says she saw people fighting on the floor as she queued for the number 16 bus near the Halifax bank.
She reports that a ‘boy in his late teens/early 20s was being chased by another boy carrying a long knife’. Ms Hope also alleges she saw a man in his 50s join in the assault. Managing to escape, the victim is then reported to have made his way towards the bus which pulled away to keep passengers safe.
"When the bus was about to go, that's when I saw there was blood," Rachel said, "The last thing I remember seeing was blood all over his nose. Then I ended up having a panic attack. I remember feeling like I could not breathe. I just remembered hearing people scream and flee. I felt for a second like I was going to faint."
Contrary to the police’s statement, Ms Hope insists that the victim was Eastern European, rather than black. A man has been arrested on suspicion of affray.
Man left fighting for his life following Harrow stabbing
A man was left fighting for his life after a stabbing in Harrow on Saturday morning (October 12). Police and paramedics attended the scene at about 2.30am, where they found a man thought to be in his 30s with stab wounds.
The victim was rushed to hospital in a critical condition. Two men, aged 29 and 32, were arrested on suspicion of GBH and remain in custody, according to police.
Several buses had to be diverted due to a crime scene which was put in place on Station Road. The road has since reopened.
Victoria Tube Station stabbing prompts police manhunt
A stabbing at Victoria Tube Station has prompted police to launch a manhunt. A man was rushed to hospital after being ‘stabbed’ during a fight at the station at around 5.26pm on Friday (October 11).
Paramedics treated a man for wounds ‘consistent with being stabbed’, who was rushed to hospital. Thankfully, his wounds were believed to be non life-threatening or life-changing.
Police have launched a man-hunt for the second man believed to be involved in the fight. He has been described at around 5’10”, white, in his 40s or 50s, with brown short hair and a brown beard.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact the BTP quoting reference 509 of 11 October or contact Crimestoppers.
