A producer from The One Show informed Jermaine Jenas that she would be forwarding a topless photo of him to HR, which was initially sent as a joke on Michael McIntyre's Big Show. This awkward moment has resurfaced following the BBC's announcement that they have dismissed Jermaine due to allegations of inappropriate behaviour.

Consequently, Jermaine has been removed from his presenting roles on The One Show, Match of the Day, Match of the Day 2 and Radio 5 Live.

The cringe-worthy clip features Jermaine squirming as the comedian takes control of his phone for a regular segment on his BBC show. Michael selects a topless image of Jermaine and asks the audience if he should distribute it to all of the ex-footballer's contacts.

With the audience's approval, Jermaine watches on, laughing with his wife Ellie who is reportedly supporting her husband. Michael stated: "Everyone you know is going to receive that photo. When you look at that, who are you most worried about it going to?"

"Ellie's mum," responded Jermaine. Later, Michael disclosed to Jermaine that he had received a reply to the topless photo, reports the Mirror.

The presenter confirmed the sender was one of The One Show's producers.

Michael joked: "Well she's just said, I'm sending this to HR," causing Jermaine, Ellie and the studio audience to erupt in laughter. This incident follows Jermaine's live on-air dismissal from the BBC while at talkSPORT.

The former footballer was in the midst of a three-hour drive-time show alongside fellow ex-player Jermaine Pennant when he received news of his dismissal. A talkSPORT spokeswoman conveyed: "We were made aware of a breaking news story involving Jermaine Jenas as he went on air for a one-off presenting slot on talkSPORT Drive.

"We made a decision with Jermaine that he should continue to present the show. Given the array of serious allegations being reported as the story continues to evolve, it's for Jermaine as a private individual to address them in the way he chooses.

"There are no plans for Jermaine to broadcast as a presenter on talkSPORT in the immediate future."

Post-show, Jermaine discussed the unfolding controversy with a talkSPORT presenter.

He expressed: "I can't really talk about it. As you can probably see, I'm not happy about it. But currently as it stands I'm going to have to let the lawyers deal with it. There's two sides... that's all I can say now."

He continued: "I'm not happy about this situation. I'm going to be speaking to my lawyers about it, is all I can say right now."

Despite being unable to delve into details, Jermaine acknowledged his frustration during the interview, agreeing with the reporter's observation: "I can see you're fuming".

A BBC spokesperson confirmed: "We can confirm Jermaine Jenas is no longer part of our presenting line-up."
