Azealia Banks has pretty much made a name for herself by being controversial, starting Twitter spats, and being racist towards Zayn Malik, however, she has hit the headlines yet again after accusing Hollywood actor Russell Crowe of calling her the ‘N-word’ and spitting on her.

Eye witnesses have told quite a different story.

Starting with Azealia’s version of events, the rapper took to Facebook to make her horrifying accusations, writing in a now-deleted post: “To recap my night, I went to a party at Russell Crowe’s suite, at which he called me a n****r, choked me, threw me out and spat at me.

“Last night was one of the hardest nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time. The men in the room allowed it to happen. I feel terrible today.”

She added in a separate deleted post: “Just feel so low and mishandled and alone and f*****g depressed right now. I wish I had someone to beat him up for me.”

However, other sources have claimed that it was Azealia who caused all of the trouble and that Russell remained “surprisingly calm” before throwing her out of his suite after she threatened to stab everyone.

To start at the beginning, the ‘Gladiator’ actor reportedly invited 10 friends over to his suite to have dinner and listen to music, with Azealia arriving as the plus one of Russell’s friend RZA.

According to TMZ, the trouble began when Azealia mocked Russell’s music selection and dubbed he and his guests “boring white men”, with a female friend of the actor telling the rapper to be quiet.

However, this sparked a horrifying rant from the 25-year-old with sources saying that she seethed: “You would love it if I broke my glass, stabbed you guys in the throat, and blood would squirt everywhere like some real Tarantino s**t.”

They also say that she is the one who used the n-word a number of times, with Russell not reacting at all until Azealia reached for her glass and raised it as though she was going to throw it, with Russell grabbing her in a bear hug and carrying her out of the hotel suite before calling security to remove her.

Four of Russell’s guests have given statements confirming that Azealia was the one who used racist terms and that she was behaving “erratically” throughout the night.

Azealia previously sparked outrage for taking to Twitter to dub former One Direction star a “curry-scented b****” in an unprovoked racist attack.
