Azealia Banks not taking legal action against Russell Crowe over hotel spat

Azealia Banks has decided that she won’t be taking legal action against Russell Crowe following a disagreement at a hotel in Los Angeles.

The musician was at a dinner party hosted in Russell’s hotel suite when he personally threw her out when she was reported to have been behaving ‘obnoxiously’.

She told Us Weekly magazine that he pushed and spat at her to get her to leave the room.

“Even if I were being erratic, you should have enough sense to have me escorted out properly and keep your hands and your spit to yourself,” she said.

However, despite threatening to get her lawyers involved, the 212 singer says that she’d rather shift the focus back to her music.

Talking about the potential legal action, Azaelia told Us Weekly:

“Realistically, to be honest, I really don’t want to. Because I just don’t want this in the media. I want my music out. I just want to f***ing put my music out.

"I just want my music to shine. I don’t want to be dealing with another episode, another thing, another whatever.”

However, the controversial rapper says that she does expect an apology from the actor despite reports that she was the one at fault.

She said: “[Russell] feels that he did nothing wrong, so I’m just like, OK, if you want to pay a bunch of litigators and a bunch of people to apologise to me, then I guess that’s what you want to do.

"You could apologise to me for free now and make this all go away.”
