We’re used to seeing dogs and cats going viral, but the latest creature to receive international fame is Azuki the hedgehog.

The Japanese animal already has more than 170,000 Instagram followers, and regularly posts cute updates of his weekly antics.

Most recently, Azuki went on a camping trip.

Complete with a mini-picnic, a hedgehog-sized tent and even a barbeque, Azuki is living the countryside lifestyle we can only dream of.

On his travels, the hedgehog has collected firewood, taken a trip in a kayak and sat amongst the pumpkins.

The hedgehog puts our best Instagram brags to shame as he regularly receives thousands of likes from his doting fans.

One commented ‘I just want to go camping with this hedgehog’ while another said ‘I’ve wanted [a hedgehog] for years this is the best day of my life.’

Azuki first went viral last year after his owner posted a video of him eating his favourite snack – a piece of apple.

First step, international fame. Second step, world domination.
