Baby born on busy Paris Metro gets free rides until he's 25
Commuters in Paris faced delays for an altogether different reason on Monday morning – a baby being born on one of the trains.
RER rail passengers were forced to sit it out at Auber station in the French capital after the woman went into labour.
Thankfully, the unusual setting for the birth did not seem to hinder the baby boy being born and he arrived healthy.

RER tweeted: ‘We can confirm that everything is going well. Emergency services are currently on the train helping the mother.’
Valerie Pécresse, the president of the Ile-de-France region, tweeted: ‘All sorts of events occur on the RER, some of them happier than others! A long and happy life to the baby.’
