Baby Capybara Snuggles Up in Trough of Hay at San Antonio Zoo
Tupi, the San Antonio Zoo’s popular baby capybara, decided that a trough of hay was better suited for napping in than eating from, footage released on Thursday, January 23, shows.
Video filmed and posted to X by the San Antonio Zoo in Texas shows the adorable Tupi, who was born to the zoo in December, climbing into the trough of hay and getting cozy in it.
“Look out for shiny black birds,” commented a user under the post, referencing a previous video that the zoo posted of Tupi being awakened by a bird while napping in the trough in early January.
