Baby fawn rescued after getting stuck in fence

Passersby called in a report of a baby fawn being trapped in a section of a fence in Eugene, Oregon, on 30 August.

Officer Shawni McLaughlin, who works with the department’s animal welfare unit, responded and was able to free the fawn using gloves and a towel.

After a few moments, the fawn was able to get up and go on its way.
