Baby Reindeer's Jessica Gunning has joined the stacked voice cast of Agatha Christie's The Mysterious Affair at Styles adaptation for Audible.

Gunning will star as antagonist Evelyn Howard alongside Game of Thrones' Peter Dinklage in the role of detective Hercule Poirot and Station Eleven's Himesh Patel as Poirot's pal, Captain Hastings (via Variety).

Adapted from Christie's debut novel, published in 1920, The Mysterious Affair at Styles follows an injured Captain Hastings embroiled in the death of Emily Inglethorp (Harriet Walter), the matriarch of a wealthy family.

Hasting is invited to the Inglethorps' large country estate to recover after serving in World War I, but things quickly go awry when matriarch Emily is found dead.

As her relatives realise she may have been murdered, no one is above suspicion, and each has their motives.

Desperate to solve the mystery and protect the family from media speculation, Hastings summons Poirot, who's determined to find out what happened.

Cast for the adaptation is rounded out by Deadpool & Wolverine star Rob Delaney as Alfred Inglethorp and Game of Thrones' John Bradley as Lawrence Cavendish, as well as Phil Dunster as John Cavendish, Patsy Ferran as Mary Cavendish, and Vivian Oparah as Cynthia Murdoch.

Gunning will also feature in the star-studded family movie The Magic Faraway Tree opposite Claire Foy, Andrew Garfield and Nicola Coughlan.

The film adapts Enid Blyton's book series of the same name, with Ben Gregor directing from a script by Simon Farnaby, best known for Ghosts and for co-writing Paddington 2 and Wonka with Paul King.

The Mysterious Affair at Styles will be released globally on Audible on November 14.
