Best known for his stint on the hit sci-fi TV show, Jerry Doyle appeared as a series regular from 1994 – 1998… and starred in the TV movies, ‘Babylon 5: The Gathering’, ‘Babylon 5: The River of Souls’ and ‘Babylon 5: A Call To Arms’.

But it wasn’t just sci-fi that made Jerry Doyle’s career…

Early on, he landed a recurring role as a lawyer in ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ and more recently, he starred in his own radio talk show, ‘The Jerry Doyle Show’ airing across the US on Talk Radio Network.

“A call was made to his Las Vegas home yesterday afternoon after [Jerry] was found unresponsive,” said a source to TMZ. “It’s unclear how the political radio talk show host and actor died… but we’re told no foul play is suspected. An autopsy is pending.”

Of course, tributes have already begun pouring in from his ‘Babylon 5’ pals.

“I am so devastated at the news of the untimely death of my good friend @jerrydoyle,” said ‘Babylon 5’ star Bruce Boxleitner via Twitter. “During the B5 years, he was a great pal, RIP Garibaldi.”

‘Babylon 5’ creator J. Michael Straczynski also released this touching statement:

“Regardless of whatever was going on in his life, whether it was marital issues, a broken arm, forced couch-surfing with Bruce and Andreas or other problems, he never once pulled a prima donna on us; he showed up every day on time, knew his lines, and insisted that the guest cast live up to the standards of the main cast.”

“He was funny, and dangerous, and loyal, and a prankster, and a pain in the ass; he was gentle and cynical and hardened and insightful and sometimes as dense as a picket fence…and his passing is a profound loss to everyone who knew him, especially those of us who fought beside him in the trenches of Babylon 5.”

Jerry Doyle died 28 July 2016, aged 60.
