Hollywood star-turned-fitness guru Halle Berry launched her wellness platform rē•spin last year and has joined forces with Sweaty Betty for a second drop of the rē•spin edit. Top marks go to the Jinx Power Reflective Gym Leggings (£75), which are perfect for after-dark runs now that the days are shorter, and the cosy-looking khaki quilted Luna Quilted Coat (£365) which is constructed from recycled plastic. Berry says the pieces are “effortless, adaptable, and fit into my active lifestyle perfectly.”

Like a side of Eighties nostalgia with your activewear? Look no further than the new co-branded capsule collection by Parisian label Maje and LA’s favourite athleisure brand Varley, marking the former’s first foray into activewear. It majors in both performance and style, thanks to Varley’s high-tech materials, and cool design details like the MV logos studded throughout the range, appearing on bras, leggings, caps and yoga mats. We love how the khaki leopard print contrasts with pops of violet and glitter.

Spanx launches at John Lewis

 (Spanx)
(Spanx)

Shapewear brand Spanx creates some of the finest activewear on the market. Think ultra flattering v-shaped necklines (from £58) and stomach-sucking high-waisted leggings that don’t budge, no matter how many burpees you attempt. All are designed to “celebrate the body” - we are particular fans of the Booty Boost Leggings in Speckled Plum (£88), made with the brand’s lightweight signature performance fabric featuring four-way stretch that’s both breathable and sweat-wicking. Kourtney Kardashian, Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Garner are all fans.

 (Ellesse)
(Ellesse)

Nineties sportswear apparel brand Ellesse has had a rebrand and is now beloved by Gen Z-ers for its funky prints and logo-emblazoned hats and hoodies. Swedish singer Zara Larsson is the new face of Ellesse and when we sweat tested the new AW21 collection at the brand’s London partner studio Blok, we loved the quality of the running shorts and longer length of the crop tops which come in a striking purple snakeskin print. Both are coming to the website soon. Go on, brighten up that workout wardrobe.
