Yahoo News Bad Boys 3 filming pics show major returning character in serious trouble
Filming is currently under way on Bad Boys for Life, AKA Bad Boys 3, and it doesn't look like it's going well for one major returning character.
Alongside Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, Joe Pantoliano is reprising his role from the first two movies as Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett's long-suffering boss, Captain Howard.
But a dramatic scene has been teased in filming photos that appears to show Captain Howard being shot.
Lowrey rushes to his aid, but is he too late?
The third movie will also star Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Charles Melton, Jacob Scipio and Paola Nuñez.
We don't yet know the official plot for Bad Boys for Life, but it's been reported that it will see Lowrey and Burnett clash with a modern, highly specialised police unit when a new threat emerges in Miami.
It appears that this is Miami PD's elite AMMO unit, led by Lowrey's former girlfriend (Nuñez), who are trying to take down a deadly drug cartel.

Filming on the threequel got under way in January 2019 more than two decades after the original movie (and 16 years since the sequel), along with the news that DJ Khaled will be playing an unknown role in the movie too.
Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah have taken over from Michael Bay as directors for the threequel, which will be released in cinemas on January 17, 2020.
