Bake Off fans thrilled as star lands dream job after losing final
The Great British Bake Off finale spoilers follow.
Great British Bake Off fans have shared their delight after learning that finalist Dylan Bachelet has landed his dream job.
While he missed out on the crown, it was revealed at the end of Tuesday's (November 26) finale that Dylan has started working at a Michelin-starred restaurant since the season finished filming.
It has now been confirmed that he is at The Five Fields in London, the restaurant sharing the news on Instagram ahead of the finale.

"Dylan has been very good at not letting on, even to us, how well he has done so we are all waiting with baited breath and cheering him on each episode," they wrote. "We couldn't be more proud of his accomplishments!!"
Fans have since shared their happiness in the comments, one writing: "Really pleased that you are starting out on the career you dreamed of. All the luck in the world to you Dylan. Enjoy!"
"Well done Dylan - you will go far. Don’t ever lose that fantastic personality of yours," another added, while a third said: "It's fabulous that he has found a job in a kitchen already. He is going to be a star!"

"So happy for Dylan, finding his dream job! Nerve wrecking watch on the GBO final," a fourth wrote.
The finale saw Dylan compete against Georgie Grasso and Christiaan de Vries, with Georgie eventually crowned the champion.
Following the loss, Dylan praised Georgie as an "inspiration" in an Instagram post, while also reflecting on his own journey.
"I couldn’t have ever imagined I’d be in the final, I barely baked before the show, every week was a different beast, so with every week I learnt so much in order to get through," he wrote.

Dylan said being a finalist was "unreal" and admitted he will miss being on the show "so much", though is "very excited and ready for the future".
"To all the other bakers, I’m so glad to have shared this all with you, and I truly couldn’t have imagined it any other way," the star added.
"I had doubts about all of it at the beginning, but you all made me feel so comfortable. Such an extraordinary group of people. I will forever relish the memories of our dinners, an absolute highlight of my life, free food and fantastic company."
The Great British Bake Off and its spin-off Bake Off: An Extra Slice both air on Channel 4 in the UK. In the US, it's known as The Great British Baking Show, and streams on Netflix.
