Bake Off innuendos return with smuttiest episode yet

One thing loyal Great British Bake Off fans will be glad to hear is that the new show has embraced cake-based puns and sexual innuendos just as much as when it was on BBC.

Episode 3 aired last night and was packed with eyebrow-raising comments and glorious “smut”, ensuring the series’s trademark tone lives on at Channel 4.

The dirty jokes kicked off when judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith described the perfect recipe for baking a cottage loaf during the technical challenge and reminded novice bakers that “tight balls” were key.

Paul began: “Shaping obviously is the key point, because you’ve got to be able to bond the top and the bottom. If they don’t, the bottom will blow off the top so the top will literally fall off. So it’s all about making both of the balls quite tight.

“The way that you do that, the way that I do it, is to drive my finger right all the way to the tray underneath,” he added.

Prue then asked: “Do you flour your finger?”

Paul, giggling like a schoolboy, replied he “could oil it.”

Baker Julia then caused a stir when she made a “snail” shaped loaf that looked more like a penis, and of course everyone loved it.

The producers and cameramen must have been laughing their socks off at the sight of her freshly raised loaf, knowing that the frenzy it would cause on Twitter.

Meanwhile, presenter Noel Fielding previously admitted he’s not “a pun man” but Bake Off has brought out his silly side.

Noel said: “I’m not really a pun man but you just find yourself coming out with them.

“I had to hold Sandi up when Paul said to Prue, ‘It’s a pretty nice crack’. I thought she was going to fall over.”
