The Great British Bake Off spoilers follow.

With it all coming down to the final challenge, Dylan was awarded Star Baker following an incredible week where he even received a 'Hollywood handshake' from Paul.
But sadly it was Sumayah's time to go after a week that saw her come last in the Technical Challenge.
On X (formerly Twitter) fans of the show lamented Sumayah's exit, after she had shown herself to be an extremely talented young baker.

#GBBO wow, amazed that Sumayah has left. She's been absolutely brilliant - such a shame she has had a bad week. Dylan had a bad week last week but he's certainly pulled it off this week. He's brilliant as well 👍👍

Sumayah 💔💔💔💔 I will miss her lovely bakes so much. And she was so young! She did her absolute best, and never went for simple stuff. #gbbo

In her goodbye letter on X, Sumayah wrote: "Well... what can I say? To all my fellow bakers who made the experience what it was, they're my second family, we had the best laughs (and cries) together and I can't imagine life without you all now. Bake Off has been the most wonderful experience of my life and I'm so grateful to be part of it.
"I still can't wrap my head around it! It has truly changed my life for the better, I've gained a newfound sense of confidence, motivation and friends for life.
She continued: "Leaving the Tent certainly comes with a cohort of mixed emotions but I am so proud of everything I managed to achieve (a Showstopper handshake was beyond my wildest dreams!) and I left the Tent with the biggest smile on my face.
"Every day was so much fun and I'm so happy to have shared my love of bakery and art with you all!"
The episode marked a big moment for Dylan, who received a Hollywood handshake for his Coconut Illusion’ Meringue Nests in the Signature challenge and came first with his Spotted Dick in the Technical.
It's the quarter-finals next week, with the remaining contestants tackling '70s week.
The Great British Bake Off and its spin-off Bake Off: An Extra Slice both air on Channel 4 in the UK. In the US, it's known as The Great British Baking Show, and streams on Netflix.
