Barber gives long-haired teen such a dramatic trim that people can't recognise him
Looking to switch up your style? A fresh haircut might just be the answer...
One TikTok user, @j_da_barberr, who has a following of 707,000, shared a video that's got everyone talking. He captioned it: "He was tired of really long hair and drove one hour for this transformation. He got a textured fringe with a blowout and couldn't believe it was him at the end."
The clip shows his client, fed up with his lengthy locks, eager for a change. In the footage, the barber queries: "Do you want to cut it all off?" And the customer responds with "yep". The 17-year-old, dropped off by his mum, mentioned he intended to donate his chopped hair.

After a brief chat about what he wanted, the customer showed a picture of the look he was after, and the barber set to work. Armed with a razor, the barber sheared off the long hair before styling the fringe. Moments later, the teen is almost unrecognisable with his new 'do.
The transformation clearly impressed the lad, as he's seen in the video admiring his new hairstyle in the mirror. The post quickly went viral, amassing 2.6 million likes and 13,900 comments.
One viewer commented: "This barber is changing lives." While another exclaimed: "Biggest save in barber history." A third fan remarked: "Completely different person."
Meanwhile, a fourth TikTok user added their voice: "I would never cheat on this barber." Another individual highlighted the transformation, asserting that the "power of a haircut is insane".
Looking for more haircut transformations? Previously, a handsome man caused a stir after shaving off his entire head. Sporting a formerly unkempt appearance, the man switched up his look with a tight buzz cut and trimmed his beard to match.
However, since its debut online, the haircut has been met with mixed reactions, many suggest he looked better pre-cut.
