Tip of the week

If you see what seems to be a bargain online, check that the company is legitimate. Members of the HotUKDeals website recommend using sites such as Endole.co.uk, Scam Adviser and VAT search to check if a company is legitimate and safe to buy from. They should show whether a company is registered to a credible address and how long it has been operating. If it seems new, it may have been trading under a different name, which had a bad reputation.
