BATGIRL star Leslie Grace has shared some behind-the-scenes clips of the film which was shot in Glasgow.

The DC film, set to star Michael Keaton, Brendan Fraser, JK Simmons and Leslie Grace, was scrapped by Warner Bros following poor test screenings.

In The Heights actress Leslie, who was set to star as the titular character, previously revealed that she would never forget her time in Scotland, and thanked everyone for welcoming her with "open arms".

Now the 27-year-old has shared some snapshots of her time making the film, which was shot entirely in the city.

 

She posted a reel to TikTok which showed her in costume make-up, doing action sequences, and even playing on a rocking horse in full Batgirl costume.

The video has received 3 million views.

Production for Batgirl reportedly cost an estimated 70 million dollars (£57.6 million) and the film was scheduled for release in late 2022.

Following the news of the film being shelved, Leslie shared a heartfelt message to her Instagram followers.

She wrote: "I feel blessed to have worked among absolute greats and forged relationships for a lifetime in the process!"
