Bath & Body Works opening in Liverpool ONE

Personal care and home fragrance brand Bath & Body Works is moving into Liverpool ONE. The company has more than 1,7000 stores in the United States with the UK market next on its list for expansion.

Bath & Body Works provides a range of body lotions, candles, home fragrances, soaps and personal care products. The American chain moves into the unit previously occupied by Victoria's Secret on South John Street.

Discussing the company's UK goals, Gina Boswell, chief executive officer of Bath & Body Works, previously said: "The UK is a market with tremendous opportunity. The fragrance market alone has experienced such a huge surge in demand.

"That's just the growing desire for unique and personalized scents and our DNA is about that. Our plans include going from large malls to shop-in-shop concepts,"

Bath & Body Works opened its seventh UK store in London's Westfield Stratford City earlier this month. An opening date for the Liverpool ONE store has been revealed for spring 2025.

Liverpool ONE's Victoria's Secret store has relocated directly opposite its previous home to remain on South John Street. The switch has opened up three new units with Bath & Body Works claiming one and lingerie brand Boux Avenue occupying another. The final unit's new owner is yet to be confirmed.

Bath & Body Works is the latest the latest business confirmed for Liverpool ONE. The ECHO previously reported that Japanese fashion brand UNIQLO will move into the former Tessuti building and beauty giant Sephora will take over the Foot Locker store.
