Batley and Spen: MP says Hancock’s conduct ‘did come up’

Conservative Party co-chair Amanda Milling has said the party's failure to win the Batley and Spen by-election was "bitterly disappointing" but insisted that it was “always going to be a really big challenge”. Pressed on whether Matt Hancock’s conduct had a part to play in the by-election defeat, the MP said: “There were a whole host of issues which came up and Matt did come up at the weekend.”.
