Some of the capital’s top chefs including Vivek Singh, Mark Hix and Francesco Mazzei have joined the first ever London Seafood Festival.

Emma Reynolds of Tonkotsu, Robin Hancock and Richard Kirkwood of Wright Brothers, and Anna Hansen of Modern Pantry have also signed up for the five-day festival at Battersea Power Station next month.

It will include chef masterclasses, sessions on shucking oysters and pop-ups serving dishes that celebrate the sea.

There will also be seafood menus and ticketed dinners at many of the restaurants at Circus West Village, the first regenerated area of the power station.

Award-winning chef Mitch Tonks will do a restaurant takeover with Hix, and wine store Vagabond will offer a seafood-focused lunch with wines paired by chef Ronnie Murray of Peckham Manor.
