Bay City Rollers announced as headline act of Blyth Live Music Festival 2025
Legendary pop band Bay City Rollers have been announced as the headline act for the highly anticipated Blyth Live Music Festival on Saturday, June 21.
Blyth Town Council announced the news that the group will headline the festival, a highlight on the calendar in Blyth, which will take place at Mermaid Car Park in the town.
The free family-friendly event will be packed with live music performances and activities for all ages. Alongside the iconic sounds of the Bay City Rollers, festival goers can enjoy community and craft stalls showcasing local talent and creativity, a variety of food concessions, street theatre performances and a funfair.

Bay City Roller legend, Stuart "Woody" Wood, has brought together a powerful group of talented musicians who embody the same essence of the original band that the world knew and loved.
The group is currently made up of Ian Thomson on lead vocals and guitar, John McLaughlin on vocals and keyboard, Mikey Smith on bass guitar, Jamie McGrory on drums and Stuart "Woody" Wood on guitar.
Mayor of Blyth Town Council Aileen Barrass shared her excitement for the festival and the headliners. She said: "We’re thrilled to welcome the Bay City Rollers to Blyth Live 2025. Their music has stood the test of time, and we know their performance will get everyone dancing. This festival is a great way to bring our community together and celebrate everything that makes Blyth special. So, let’s roll on to June 21st it’s going to be a 'Saturday Night' to remember."
