Bayern Munich will play in front of an empty Allianz Arena for the first time when they host Eintracht Frankfurt this evening.

The Bavarian outfit got their first taste of post-coronavirus football last weekend with a 2-0 victory over Union Berlin as the Bundesliga returned.

Hansi Flick's side will be hoping to move further clear in the race for the Bundesliga title with the chasing pack of Borussia Dortmund, Borussia Monchengladbach and RB Leipzig in close pursuit.

Bayern's home ground is rarely ever not packed to the rafters, so the absence of fans will present a new challenge for the Bundesliga leaders.

But with Eintracht struggling in the bottom half of the table and Bayern putting together an astonishing unbeaten run, it seems unlikely that will distract them from their quest for an eighth consecutive league title.

Date, kick-off time and venue

The match kicks off at 5:30pm BST at the Allianz Arena on Saturday, May 23.

Prediction

Bayern 3-0 Eintracht: The visitors will be dreading this trip after a dismal run that has left them languishing dangerously above the relegation zone and it's hard to see anything other than a comfortable home success.

Adi Hutter's side look a shadow of the team that reached the Europa League semi-finals last season.

And Bayern, armed with a potent attack containing Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry, will be looking to add a few goals to their respective tallies.
