Big Brother's Kay is finding herself increasingly isolated from the other housemates over her friendship with Lewis G, so much so that she was on the verge of quitting the show on Monday (September 24).

Lewis G has become more volatile in the house over the last week, veering from gleefully bankrupting Anamélia in last week's Blood Money task to having a petulant strop over mince this past weekend.

What was once seen as cute and playful by his fellow housemate is now getting on their nerves, as witnessed in Monday's episode, when even his best buddy Isaac complained that Lewis G was "doing [his] f**king head in" with his taunting behaviour while the housemates waited to nominate.

"I can feel tension building in here and I like it," Lewis G smiled.

"You go out of your way to be a dick, bruv... If we weren't in here, I would have given you a slap," Isaac warned. "You've f**ked it with me now, mate."

Later in the Diary Room, Isaac was informally reminded by Big Brother that using threatening language is not permitted in the game, but was not officially warned.

Meanwhile, the only person who enjoyed Lewis G's antics seemed to be Kay, who giggled along as he antagonised Isaac and Kenaley. It was an unwise move that later caught the attention of others.

First to call her out was Lewis F, who wondered why Kay was so quick to laugh along while the other Lewis frequently tried to target him.

"Because he's got this energy, I can see he doesn't mean it," Kay answered. "I don't want to put this label on myself [like] I'm so naive, but I think he likes you."

Kay then managed to tick off Lewis F by insinuating that it was actually Lewis G who was being antagonised by the others, rather than the other way around.

"You feel sorry for him?" a disbelieving Lewis F asked. "But nothing when he's coming at me?"

"The thing is, I didn't think he meant it," Kay argued. "I think he likes you."

Lewis F wasn't buying it, telling her: "Since the day he walked in, he's had something against me. Maybe you can't see it, but everybody else now sees it. My intuition was right about him, and he's just proved it today."

In the Diary Room, Lewis G was surprisingly conciliatory, admitting: "I've brought it upon myself and I'm just a bit down about it, really... I just came off as a bit of an arsehole, really."

Kay later ended up in the firing line once again over her defence of Lewis G when Cameron laid into her as she tried to mount a defence of her friend to the other housemates.

"I just think with you laughing, and I'm sure you're not doing it maliciously, but you're coming across as his bitch, so to speak," Cameron said. "Because you're laughing at him, you're giving him the encouragement.

"I don't necessarily think that's what you're wanting to do, but that's the way it's coming across. You're the only one in there laughing… It's fuelling him."

Now in tears, Kay seemed on the verge of calling it quits in the Big Brother house: "I'm struggling with the whole experience, to be honest. F**k it, Big Brother!

"I don't want to be in an environment that begins to be toxic and people are talking about people… Now even you saying that I'm someone's bitch?!"

A sobbing Kay worried she was having a "breakdown" and went for the emergency exit, but was called to the Diary Room by Big Brother to ensure that she was okay. Kay initially refused to appear on camera, before finally sitting in the Diary Room chair.

"I can't go face the people. I can't go face Cameron, he's just a very young boy that says flippant things," she complained.

Of Lewis, she explained: "I'm just entertained by his character. He brightens the day. But I do get it, if it's at another person's expense... All I do is love. All I see is love. Is this Lewis G this much of a monster?"

Kay eventually did return to the house and was comforted by Lewis F of all people, who made her promise "not to leave him". In the Diary Room, Cameron seemed to feel no remorse for making Kay feel bad.

"With her, I just feel like every time something comes up that she's in the wrong... it's the waterworks," he complained. "I'm not going to mince my words. This is Big Brother for f**k's sake."

Viewers may well be turning on the once-popular teenage contestant now:

Cameron did later apologise for his comments, admitting that he didn't choose his words wisely. Meanwhile, Monday's show revealed that Lewis G, Lewis F and Isaac will all be facing eviction (unless the Gamechanger switches things up).

Big Brother continues on Tuesday at 10pm on Channel 5.
